Results Summary:
It was a very closely fought contest between pairs from Durham and Northumberland in the Inter-County Challenge held at Consett golf club with Northumberland just coming out on top winning the Dunn/Mair Trophy by 175 points to 173.
The team of Maureen Jenkins and Jane Ashby of Parklands won the pairs prize with 43 points with Yvonne Setchell and Pauline Baxter from Houghton-le-Spring second with 39 points.
