Results Summary:
The Scout Cups were played in beautiful conditions at Tynemouth golf club today. £312 was raised for each county to donate to their Scout Association. The Scout Cups themselves were won by Rosie Cooper and Briggy Vinnicombe of Durham City with 39 points, in second place were Sue Walker and Sue Douglas of Darlington beating Linda Smith and Gael Morris of Gosforth Park who also had 37 points over the back 9. Rosie and Briggie won the cups in 2016 when the event was held at Ryton - they obviously enjoy playing greensomes together.
The "Pyman Scoot" is played for by the two County Exec teams. This year Durham came out on top winning by a margin of 89 points to 73.
