Jessica Hall wins the Critchley Salver

Jessica Hall had a brilliant win at Sunningdale on 23rd May. She played 5 under par over two rounds to win the Critchley Salver. It was a magnificant achievement. Well done Jess - you should be so proud.


There was a very good turnout for the Appleby Bowl Strokeplay and Stableford Competitions at Dinsdale Spa on May 20th. Despite the cold, often wet, and blustery conditions, there were some excellent scores.

Girls Golf Rocked at Seaton Carew Golf Club today!


The draw for the Matchplay Rounds is published in Junior Fixtures. The first named player in each match has home advantage for the Quarter Final.

Clement Trophy Qualifier - Sunday 23rd April 2017

The Clement Trophy Qualifier, the first County Junior Competition of the season, was played at South Shields today.  The weather was good and the course was in fantastic condition, which made for a very competitive event.

Girls Golf Rocks

Girls Golf will be rocking again in Durham when the succesful campaign to inspire new young players returns in April. Girls Golf Rocks is all about attracting beginners to have fun, learn a new sport, get active and play alongside friends.

Jess is selected for England Under 18 Team

Congratulations to Jessica Hall who has been selected for the under 18 England Team to play in the Scottish U18 at Montrose in April. Well done Jess! We'll all be rooting for you. Play well and enjoy!

Strength and Conditioning

Six junior girls have started a six week strength and conditioning course with Simon Robinson at Sharpley. The first session was great fun, thoroughly enjoyed by all of the girls. It's hoped that after this trial we will be able to offer this sort of opportunity to everyone.

County Match against Yorkshire - Sunday 18th September

The team of Briony Bayles, Kitana Hollins, Ella Crang, Erin Goodfellow, Zara Alexander, Emily Baxter, Abbi Wheatley and Maggie Whitehead played against Yorkshire at York Golf Club.  The weather was perfect, warm and sunny with no wind. The match could not have been closer.
