Junior Squad

DCLGA Juniors are playing a match against Cumbria on Sunday, July 15.

Appleby Bowl

The junior girls were at Darlington Golf Club today to play the Appleby Bowl. The theme was 'Royal Wedding' with the girls dressing in red white and blue. We had lots of flags, balloons and cupcakes. The weather was glorious and the mood was one of excitement and anticipation.

Squad Announced for County Match Week

Following the County Championship held this weekend the squad has been announced for County Match Week being held at Huddersfield this year from 18th - 22nd June.

Have You Forgotten?

The closing date for entries for the Championship/Greener Cup was 16th April. However, if you get your entries in by Monday 23rd they will be accepted. The weather has been booked so hopefully we will have a dry weekend!

Golfer of the Year

Jessica Hall from Bishop Auckland Golf Club was the golfer of the year in 2017.

Ballingall Shield 2017

The Ballingall Shield is an annual target match between Durham and Northumberland first played for in 1972. The format is a 4BBB match played off scratch and this year it was played at Whickham.


County Match against Yorkshire - Saturday 23rd September

The Junior County Girls had their final match of the year against Yorkshire at Blackwell Grange Golf Club. The team of Briony Bayles, Ella Crang, Erin Goodfellow, Amy Sutheran, Cara Weddell, Olivia Bainbridge, Neve Pearson and Ella Jackson had a magnificent win 7-1! All of the girls played well.

Junior County Championship, Brancepeth Castle Golf Club - Saturday 2nd September

The Junior County Championship was played today at Brancepeth Castle Golf Club. Conditions were perfect - warm sunshine and no wind. The brilliant scores reflected the conditions.
