MRS MARGARET DIETZ

July 16 1932 – January 15 2019

 

Sadly, Margaret Dietz, Vice-President of the DCLGA, died in hospital on January 15th, following a brief illness occasioned by a fall at Christmas.

Jessica Wins Again

Congratulations to Jessica Hall of Bishop Auckland who won the Royal Birkdale Scratch Trophy on July 27th.

Squad Announced for County Match Week

Following the County Championship held this weekend the squad has been announced for County Match Week being held at Huddersfield this year from 18th - 22nd June.

Sheila Sayers

It is with great sadness that we have learnt that Sheila Sayers a past JLO of DCLGA and a Past President of the Captains Society in 2009/10 passed away on Thursday 8th February 2018.  Sheila was 92 years old and had been living in a nursing home.

County Captain's Charity

At the A.G.M. today retiring County Captain Christine Mair handed over a cheque for £1,050 to St Cuthberts hospice, this was one of the six local hospices that will recieve donations from the £6,300 raised in total over the year.

Charity Texas Scramble at South Shields

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the Charity Texas Scramble held in very blustery conditions at South Shields Golf club yesterday. This was the culmination of some sterling fund raising activity by our Lady County Captain Christine Mair.
