Our American Girls

Durham County Ladies will be saying goodbye to seven of our girls who are heading off to the States in the next few weeks to embark on or resume their studies having won golf scholorships to universities across America.

County Match against Cumbria

The junior girls played their first County Match of the season at Wynyard Golf Club today against Cumbria.  The weather was glorious, hot, sunny and still and the course was in brilliant condition. 

Girls Golf Rocks on Tour

Sheila Sayers

It is with great sadness that we have learnt that Sheila Sayers a past JLO of DCLGA and a Past President of the Captains Society in 2009/10 passed away on Thursday 8th February 2018.  Sheila was 92 years old and had been living in a nursing home.

County Captain's Charity

At the A.G.M. today retiring County Captain Christine Mair handed over a cheque for £1,050 to St Cuthberts hospice, this was one of the six local hospices that will recieve donations from the £6,300 raised in total over the year.

D.C.L.G.A. A.G.M.

The 2017 A.G.M is being held in the Studio of Durham High School for Girls on Saturday 25th November . The meeting will start at 10:30.

Charity Texas Scramble at South Shields

Many thanks to everyone who took part in the Charity Texas Scramble held in very blustery conditions at South Shields Golf club yesterday. This was the culmination of some sterling fund raising activity by our Lady County Captain Christine Mair.
