To say that the conditions at Seaton Carew were tricky would be an understatement. A stiff breeze made life difficult for all the players. Some of the visitors were grateful for the maps provided, as there have been a number of changes to the course recently. However, the list of pin positions given out were deemed less useful as "anywhere on the green would be good!".
Maria Blades of Hartlepool Golf Club came in first place with 33 points, with Pam Johnson of South Moor in second place. Well done to everyone who braved the elements - at least it didn't rain!
The Lillian Bennett Trophy for the best gross went to Joan Overton of South Shields.
